Meet the school
Director.
Owen Valuch
Director, San Francisco / Bay Area, California
Owen is a certified Israeli Combat Shooting Instructor specializing in all
aspects of hand to hand combatitives including: Israeli Self Defense FIGHT,
Blue Belt BJJ, Ground Survival, Israeli Tactical Knife and tactics Instructor.
Owen is a Weapons of Mass destruction (WMD) expert, Hazmat Operations, Rescue
Boat / waterborne operations and he is a certified Paramedic and Tactical
Medical Instructor. He is the recipient of two Medals of Valor for lifesaving
efforts as a Firefighter / Paramedic in California. Owen is the Director of our
San Francisco / Bay Area firearms school and he also is the owner of West Coast
FIGHT, which teaches the Israeli Self Defense Fight system in Sonoma County
California.

/ Bay Area, California School offers all of our physical self defense programs
for men and women, concealed handgun licensing and deployment training, fitness
programs, Law Enforcement and Military specific training as well as access to
our advanced tactical training and special weapons training programs.
Self-defense
for Men -Summit self-defense teaches the Israeli Self Defense system to
individuals. Israeli Self Defense is the evolution of all Israeli martial arts
and combines elements of Brazilian JuJitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing and
combat wrestling. It is designed for all people and is taught in Israel to male
and female members of the IDF. The techniques incorporated into the system have
been proven in violent hand-to-hand combat situations in Israel and have been
carefully adapted to street oriented self-defense.
Fitness -
Just about anyone can do it, regardless of strength, size, or physical fitness.
You'll get in great shape, have an absolute blast and get the same kind of
confidence that the professional operators who train in FIGHT. Confidence that
comes from knowing you can handle whatever situation you might encounter. It's
confidence that comes out not only in physically threatening situations (which

Self-defense
for Women - Women are confronted with many possibilities of violence in
today's society. Haganah gives women the solutions for acts of violence,
attacks, intimidation, stalking, harassment domestic abuse and sexual assault.
Many of our classes and seminars are primarily attended by women and focused on

Law Enforcement and Military
- Summit started training law enforcement in 2003 after one of its
officers, Johnnie Poncho Jr., was killed in the line of duty in Albuquerque.
Robb Hamic became frustrated at the lack of availability for training for
professional officers of the security industry and sought out all training
opportunities available. He brought the training back to his officers and those
making a difference in the private and government security industries.

Concealed
handgun licensing - Summit self-defense® offers concealed handgun
licensing and certified training that is acceptable in Texas and New Mexico.
Texas resident CHL licensing certifies individuals to carry weapons in 29
states. Summit self-defense® also teaches and certifies Non-resident
