Austin, TX August 26, 2009 -- Austin Self Defense is "serious
business," says Robb Hamic, Personal Defense Readiness (PDR) certified
Coach under the system's creator Tony Blauer. Mr. Hamic is the managing
principal of Summit Self Defense and Chief Instructor. Summit has always
specialized in Israeli combatitives, self defense, gun deployment, concealed
handgun licensing (CHL, CCW), knife deployment, women's self defense and
various other weapons training. Its founder Robb Hamic "decided that it
was time to expand into other effective areas of self defense that would work
for everyone. Mr. Blauer is a training legend and I am honored to be trained by

travelled to Bauer Tactical's headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA to attend Tony
Blauer's intensive Summer Camp followed by days of training for the Personal
Defense Readiness (PDR) Coach Certification. "I was seeking a system that
addressed the ambush, sucker punch or strait out attack that is all too often
undetected," says Hamic. The core of our method is based on the S.P.E.A.R.
SYSTEM™ which is the first genetically & behaviorally inspired
self-defense course of it's kind. It is the only self-defense method that fully

your skills, confidence and knowledge. I am implementing it in all of my
training immediately to increase my students safety."

involved in martial arts for the majority of my life and I have never learned
anything that came to me so easily," he says when referring to PDR.
"I learned the concept in only one repetition and so will my students. I
learned more about fear management and pre-fight cues than I previously thought
possible."
